11.06.08National Recycling Week - Swap Party
Sydney News, Sydney Scene (Big Kids), Sydney Scene (Little Kids) (0)Starting from Monday 10th November, Planet Ark is hosting National Recycling Week. To start off the week a Swap Party is being held in Martin Place on Monday afternoon. This is a great initiative to help educate people on the benefits of recycling as well as education on how to recycle properly. The Swap Party will run from 12.30 to 1.30. The idea is, you take along 3 easy-to-carry items (of a moderate quality) that you would like to swap for something else. 11.05.08Free city parking for scooters & motorcycles
Sydney News (0)Great news for all you two wheeler fans. As announced by the City of Sydney yesterday, a new 12 month free parking scheme has just been launched. Motorcyclists can park in the City Centre and inner city suburbs for free as part of a 12 month trial from today, Tuesday 4 November, following a City of Sydney Council decision last night. Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP said the trial exempts motorcycle and scooter riders from paying for parking but they still need to park in designated areas and comply with any time restrictions. We've been to this pool a few times chilling out with the usual suspects from in and around Surry Hills.
